Our Art Museum field trip was a huge success. The children enjoyed
creating sculptures depicting a season on their canvas using a variety
of materials like model magic clay, stones, Popsicle sticks, and paint.
They viewed a variety of art work in the galleries showing the seasons.
The children made great connections between the art work and the
seasons.
On Monday, we kick off the week with Read
Across America by celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday. We will have a guest
reader, do a goldfish graph, and some writing activities. We will
celebrate with cupcakes and juice. Here are some pictures from our field trip to the Art Museum. Great connections to our ACE project!
